Mickey Ratner (Darren Phillips) Drums

Mickey is a Jazz trained drummer born here in The United States . Mickey started drumming in the the 6th grade. As a child growing up as a music geek Mickey did not have a lot of friends. He spent most of his spare time hanging out with the Boy Scout's...HE WAS NOT ACTUALLY IN...the Boy Scouts , Rumor has it that the character of George McFly from the movie Back To The Future was based on Mickey. When he graduated from high school he moved on to The Berkley School Of Music to better his playing. While there he had a young lady that was totally fascinated with him. Rumor is that the young lady is the daughter of musician Toni Basil and the song Mickey and it was written about him. Ratner found Re-Wind through an add placed on Musicians Finder as the band was looking for a drummer. When he came out for the audition as he walked in he recognized 4 of the members were the older band geeks that tormented him as a freshman. Well even though we still to this day laugh at him and he has to play with eyes in the back of his head for fear that he will receive yet another MELVIN he does still want to play drums for us .
